DealDash

Many gyms have shut down due to social distancing. You don’t need a gym to stay fit! Simply use a fitness app. Read this article for information from DealDash.

If your city or town has shut most things down to social distancing, it’s not a problem to stay fit, you don’t really need to use the gym. Nowadays you can just download an app to your phone and begin getting (or staying) fit. Read this article from DealDash to see the benefits of using a fitness app.

Simple to Use

Firstly, fitness apps are mostly self-explanatory and easy to use. Simply search the app store of your choice, download the fitness app you like, create an account, and get started. Furthermore, people young and old, of any fitness level, can use a fitness app. Also, be sure that you read the reviews so you can see what fitness level that the app is geared towards. You don’t need to spend a lot (or any!) money for a fitness app,  because many are free.

Choose an App for YOUR Level

Next, not all fitness apps are geared towards the same group of people. Therefore, to make an informed decision, you can read reviews and decide which app is going to best meet your needs. Also, there are many different types of fitness apps. For example, there are apps geared towards active seniors, runners, couch potatoes, and more! Choose the proper level of fitness and get started as soon as you download the app.

DealDash Has Exercise Gear and Supplies

Finally, using a fitness app doesn’t mean that you won’t need any supplies. Furthermore, many apps suggest that you use a yoga mat, light weights, or a yoga ball. So, as a result, depending on the app, you might need to buy some gear. This is where DealDash can help! You can find exercise supplies and fitness gear on DealDash. Also, be sure to check out the Hobbies, Toys, Outdoors, and Games category and see what’s up for bid. Just click here.

DealDash Tips and Tricks for Frugal Living

DealDash

Now is a time that many people are trying to save money and be more frugal. Here are a few tips and tricks for frugality, from DealDash.

With a good portion of Americans being told to stay home as much as possible and even some public-facing jobs being eliminated, it’s a good time to be frugal. Being frugal doesn’t mean that you have to miss out on everything. Here are some suggestions from DealDash to save money that won’t be too tough to implement.

More Time for Couponing

If you are at home most of the time, you have more time to find deals. There are many different websites and apps that can help you find coupons. However, if you are looking for a specific brand or type of coupon you can simply Google “Brand Name” and “Coupon” and it will pop up any relevant results that you can either print out or take a screenshot of on your phone and use at the checkout.

If you are more of a “paper clipper”, then you will have even more time to go through all of your paper coupons and see if you have any that you will be able to match up for double coupons. Many grocery stores, pharmacies, and big box stores will allow you to use two coupons on one item – a store coupon as well as a manufacturer coupon.

Cut Costs for Extra Expenses

Almost all of us would be able to cut costs in our home if we took a closer look. Do your best to avoid unnecessary costs. You will be able to save a ton of money. For example, do you really need three computers in your home? Each of these computers uses up electricity as well as taking up space that could be used for other things. Do you really need the full cable package? Many people have been doing away with traditional cable altogether and using cheaper (or even free!) streaming services instead. Take a look at your expenditures and figure out how you can lower or eliminate some of these costs.

DealDash Provides Entertainment and Deals

Finally, a way to be entertained while you shop is by using DealDash. You can browse the auctions, bid, and either win or BIN (Buy It Now) all of the comfort of your home. You can use your computer’s web browser, or you can use the app.

A great way to save money is by bidding on things that you would purchase anyway. For example, if you were planning on purchasing a pair of headphones or a new Bluetooth speaker, check DealDash first. You can bid on the item, and win – or you can BIN. When you BIN you pay the price listed on the item and receive all of your bids back to use later. If you’d like to see what you can find for bid right now, just click here.

These are just a few of the things that you can do to try and live a bit more frugally these days.  By taking the time to do these suggestions you will save a little money with very little effort. Thanks so much for reading this DealDash article.

DealDash Kids: Tips for Studying at Home

DealDash

When kids are doing schoolwork at home concentration is very important. DealDash has some tips for concentration while studying at home.

Staying focused is a key part of being able to do schoolwork at home effectively. Taking some time to practice focusing can be a helpful exercise for the mind. It’s very important for a child to be able to concentrate if you want them to be successful when they study. Here are some suggestions from DealDash.

Tips for Concentration and Focus at Home

  • Set up a dedicated study area. The study area must be quiet and without distractions such as younger siblings, TV, or smartphones. This is especially important for an older child who has their own phone and has frequent notifications and texts.
  • Have a regular schedule. Having a regular schedule doesn’t mean that you have to keep “school hours”, though. Personally, I am enjoying not having to get up so early in the morning. We get up and have breakfast, then start schoolwork around 10AM. We take a short lunch break, and then do schoolwork until 2PM, followed by independent reading. Following this is an “elective” such as sewing, cooking, or art.
  • Make sure your child is getting between 8 and 9 hours of sleep each night. Your child’s concentration won’t be at it’s best if they are tired.
  • Take short breaks. I like to let the kids take a quick 5-minute break whenever they are starting to get a little antsy. A quick break can renew their concentration, especially if they use the time to grab a healthy snack such as a fruit cup or banana.

Need to Upgrade the Computer? Check DealDash

Now is the perfect time to begin collecting things to go into Easter baskets. No matter who you are gifting an Easter basket – from kids to seniors, DealDash has some great things to include. Read on for some Easter basket tips.

Get Your Basket Recipient Something from DealDash

Firstly, you can stay in and shop on DealDash for Easter. Wouldn’t your child or other family members just love a soft and fuzzy bunny rabbit toy? Or how about a funny bunny lamp? You can see some of the bunny items that are currently up for bid at this link right here. You can also find some nice fresh items in the New Item category on DealDash. Just click this link here!

Not Big on Candy?

Next, I know not every person is into candy. Think of the person who you are gifting a basket, what are their hobbies? For instance, if the person loves to knit, simple, make a basket with some yarn, stitch markers, and maybe even a few patterns. For a child who doesn’t like (or isn’t allowed) candy, then you will want to load up their basket with surprise eggs, coloring books, crayons, card games, and any other fun surprises you think they will like. Just be sure to add some fun Easter grass and a bow!

Let Them Craft a Basket

Finally, another fun way to celebrate Easter is to let them make their own baskets! Find a white basket and some markers or paint pens and encourage the person to decorate their basket how they like it. Next, you can have them either write down some suggestions of things that they would like in their basket or even draw pictures if they prefer. Then it’s time for you to go shopping and fulfill their wish list. As a result, there are no worries about including things they don’t like or are allergic to. Also, it’s easier for you!

DealDash Can Help You Relax and Destress

DealDash

With the stressful times we are living in, it’s important to be able to find a way to relax and de-stress. Read this article for some ideas.

If you’ve been feeling stressed lately you will want to read this new article from DealDash with some tips and suggestions on how to de-stress. Take a few minutes for yourself to read this article and take a break.

Try to Eat Healthily Every Day

One of the best things that you can do to relax and melt the stress away is to eat healthily each and every day. There can be major temptations to stop by the drive-thru and get fast food when you’re stressed, but that won’t make you feel better in the long run. It could actually make you feel worse! However, be sure to make it a point to stock fresh and healthy foods in your fridge. These can be things like yogurt, meats such as chicken, salads, and hummus. This is good for both your body and can also improve your mood.

Get Active Outside

Try to make it a point to be active outside a bit each day. Be sure to aim for at least 30 minutes of physical activity, preferably outside in the fresh air. If you can do more than that, wonderful! If you don’t have time for an actual workout, that’s not a problem. Simply take a short walk around the block in the evening, and bring the family with you. All of you will feel more relaxed after having a little exercise and fresh air.

Spend Quality Time With Family

Depending on what part of the country you are in your kids might have the next week off from school as a precautionary measure. My kids have the next two weeks (or more) off from school, and it’s the perfect time to spend quality time with family. This might be a stressful and scary time for all of us, but spending quality time with your family can make you feel more relaxed and less stressed. You might make some great memories with your family and end up even enjoying this impromptu break from school and work.

Take Time for Your Hobbies (Like DealDash)!

Finally, one of the very best ways to relax and de-stress is to take some time out of your day to do your favorite hobbies. If you’re reading this blog, then I bet one of your favorite hobbies is spending time on DealDash! Spending time doing the things that you enjoy can make you feel relaxed and happy. Speaking of happiness, there’s nothing that beats the amazing feeling when you win that item that you have had your eye on.
