DealDash – The Benefits of Drinking Tea
Tea is not only delicious but is also quite good for your health. DealDash is here to tell you some of the benefits.
Tea is Very Hydrating
Tea is extremely hydrating for the body. Luckily enough, tea is delicious and comes in so many different flavors. Water is fairly tasteless, so sometimes it can be difficult to make yourself drink the full 8 servings of water per day that you need. With all of the different flavors of tea that are available, you can drink your fill while hydrating your body.
Tea is Full of Antioxidants
As we talked about in the olive oil article the other day, antioxidants are extremely important to your body. Antioxidants do not occur naturally in the body, and they help prevent cancer. Tea is jam-packed full of antioxidants.
Tea Has Less Caffeine than Coffee
Do you love coffee in the morning but dislike some of the side-effects such as the jitters? Well, trade your coffee in for tea in the morning! Herbal teas have no caffeine, and black tea has less than 50 percent of what usually is found in coffee.
Tea is Good for Your Teeth
Unlike soda or juice, tea is good for your teeth. Yes, really! When you drink tea it changes the pH in your mouth. This can help prevent cavities. Also, unlike other beverages tea does not erode your tooth enamel.
Different Teas, Different Cures
Many different types of herbal teas are good for different problems in your body. For example, it’s widely known that chamomile tea is an excellent solution for anxiety. Also, drinking ginger tea is excellent for nausea. When I was pregnant with my little boy I drank a lot of ginger tea to calm my nausea.
Tea Can Help With Diabetes (Type 2)
If you have diabetes and like tea, you’re in luck. Tea can be beneficial to people with Type 2 diabetes. Studies suggest that compounds in green tea could help diabetics better process sugars. Just be sure not to put any sugar in your tea, please.
