DealDash Helps: Heal Your Rough Feet

DealDash

Your feet are one of your most important parts of your body. Take care of them with a little help from DealDash.

Your feet carry you from here to there without complaint. Why not do them a favor and take good care of them by healing the rough and dry parts? They will not only feel better but look nicer as well. Here are some tips and ideas from DealDash to keep your feet looking and feeling their best.

Exfoliate Those Puppies

Exfoliating your feet is one of the easiest ways to keep your feet nice and smooth instead of scaly and rough. Exfoliation can be done in quite a few different ways. Firstly, you’ll want to be sure that your feet have been softened up with water. This can be done by soaking them in a bowl or bucket of water, in the bathtub, or even just by waiting until the end of your shower.

Next, use your exfoliator of choice. You can use a pumice stone, a stiff brush, or even a cream exfoliator. Personally, I like the sugar based ones, because they dissolve in the water. If your feet need some extra TLC, then you can get one of the walnut based scrubs, instead.

Moisturizer Isn’t Just for Faces

Exfoliation will help take away the rough spots, but to keep them smooth for longer you’ll want to moisturize them daily. The best time to moisturize them is at night before bed. They even sell special socks that have a gel-like liner that will keep your feet moisturized all night.

The type of moisturizer that you use on your feet isn’t really important unless you happen to have a foot condition or diabetes. If you have either a foot condition or diabetes you need to consult your doctor before exfoliating or moisturizing your feet. If your feet are free of a pre-existing condition, then you can use anything from baby lotion to face lotion to body lotion to special foot lotion. They have special lotion for the feet that is scented like peppermint and is very soothing. However, any type of moisturizer is better than none on your feet, so feel free to use what you have.
