DealDash Sorts Legos

“Ouch!!” That’s what I say at any given time when I attempt to walk across my kid’s playroom. Legos. Legos everywhere.

When I was a kid way back in the “dark ages” of the 1980s, most kids had a container of Legos consisting of bricks, platforms, and maybe if you were lucky you might have a few doors or windows. Kids today have all of that and 1,000 times more. DealDash Dinner as a Family

Most people would agree that eating dinner as a family is important. However, with today’s busy schedules it’s hard to find the time.

With all of the soccer games, one or both parents working late, and tons of homework it’s hard to eat dinner together. However, since it’s important you and your family should schedule family dinner on your calendars at least once per week, but preferably more. Write it in on the calendar just as you would any other appointment, and stick to it!

DealDash Makes: DIY Summer Fun

Since you’re a fan of DealDash, you probably like to save money. Here are some fun things you can make for your kids or grandkids to have some fun this summer.

Playdough – Playdough is super simple to make, and kids can have hours of fun using it. My daughter begs to go outside on the deck every day and play with her playdough. Here’s the recipe:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups warm water
  • 1 cup salt
  • 2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 Tablespoon cream of tartar (optional for improved elasticity)
