The turkey is usually the star of the show on Thanksgiving, but these side dishes make for great runners-up.

Most people have a big turkey, sometimes a ham, and various and sundry side dishes on Thanksgiving. Pumpkin bread is delicious, fast, and easy to make. It’s perfect for the fall season.

This is the perfect time to make pumpkin bread. Everything this month is pumpkin spice, from coffee to candles – why not bread? Pumpkin bread is very versatile, you can use it as an accompaniment to your soup at lunch, or you can spread a little vanilla frosting on it and it makes a wonderful dessert. DealDash Fosters Good Eating Habits

Being a parent means that you sometimes have to make difficult choices for your kids, even if they don’t agree with you.

If you’re a busy parent like myself, sometimes it’s easy to let healthy eating habits fall by the wayside when things get busy at home. DealDash Makes Applesauce

It’s apple picking season here in New England, and what better use of apples than applesauce?

Now that I have two kids in school I have received a bounty of freshly picked apples – pretty much every kid in school around here goes to apple picking at a local farm for a field trip at this time of year.
