DealDash Redecorates a Gender Neutral Child’s Room

DealDash

If your child is ready to upgrade their bedroom, it’s easy. Let DealDash help you decorate their new room.

Redecorating your child’s bedroom doesn’t have to be a chore. It can be fun for both of you. Be sure to talk to them beforehand and get some input from them. Ask them what colors they might like to paint the room, and if they would like a theme. If they want a theme, then you need to read this article from DealDash.

Animal Friends for All, DealDash Can Help

To begin with, I know that sometimes there just aren’t enough bedrooms in the home, and siblings have to share. This can be problematic for decorating if a boy and a girl are sharing. However, that isn’t an issue at all if you use an animal theme. Most little boys and girls all love animals. You could do a jungle, ocean, or cat/dog animal themed room.

If you and the kids decide on an animal room, DealDash can help. You will find lots of adorable things for a kid’s bedroom. Every little kid needs a night light, and if you click right here you will see the different animal night lights that DealDash has up for bid. You can also check the Home, Garden, and Tools category, right here.

Princesses, Knights, and Dragons for Boys and Girls

Next, the second option that works great for both boys and girls is a princess, knights, and dragon room. You can have a big castle either printed out or painted on the wall, and you can even add extra touches such as glitter to make it special. If this is specifically for boys you can leave out the princesses if they don’t care for them, and skip the dragons for the girls if they find them too scary. This is a very easy theme to use, there are plenty of places you can use with the upgrade such as sheets, a room border, and night light.

The Old Wast

Finally, another super option for a gender neutral room is the old west. Typically when you think about cowboys you might think “that’s just for boys”, but there were plenty of cowgirls as well. For a cute old west theme, you could paint an old-timey jail on the wall, or even a desert and cactus theme. If you want to get really creative, you could even put wheels and a canopy on their bed to look like an old stagecoach.

Thanks for Reading

Thanks for reading this new DealDash Reviewed blog on decorating your child’s gender neutral room. Remember, the most important part is really listening to see what your child is interested in. Don’t just use a theme because it looks “cool”, make sure your child is actually interested in the subject.

DealDash Travel: Can’t Take a Vacation? Camp Instead!

DealDash

People all over are rethinking their vacation plans for this year. If your vacation has been canceled, try camping instead. Here are some tips from DealDash to get you started.

Summer is here! Unfortunately, many places here in the USA are still on full or partial quarantine. You might have to reconsider your vacation. Many flights have been canceled as well as hotel reservations canceled. However, you don’t have to just sit at home! If you’re looking for a great idea for a vacation where you can still practice social distancing you should consider camping. There are many reasons that you should choose camping for your next vacation during these tough times. Read on for some helpful tips from DealDash.

Social Distancing in Nature

To begin with, social distancing is still happening almost everywhere in America. Camping is the perfect way to keep your distance from other people while having fun with your family “bubble”. Depending on where you go camping, you might not even see any other people! However, even if you decide that you would rather camp at a campground, it will be easy to stay at least 6 feet away from other people. You can go hiking, fishing, collecting berries, or bird watching with your family while staying a safe distance away from other people. As vacations go, I would say that camping is the easiest way to stay 6 feet away from everyone!

Save Money While Having Fun

Next, another thing that people have been worrying about lately is their budget. Thankfully, camping is very friendly to your budget. You will save money by not having to pay for a flight or an expensive hotel. You will also save money because you won’t be going to any nice restaurants while camping.

Most camping supplies such as sleeping bags, a cooler, flashlights/lanterns, and packs can either be found around the house, borrowed from friends or family, or bought secondhand. Your biggest expense will probably be renting either a tent or a cabin, but this is a small cost compared to even a low or mid-tier hotel.

DealDash Can Help With Supplies

If you are looking to purchase some supplies for camping, you can find a great selection on DealDash. If you click this link you will find tents, sleeping bags, enamel dining sets meant for the outdoors, lanterns, and more. When you get your camping supplies on DealDash you will have fun while shopping for the things that you need for your vacation. If you like items meant to be used in nature, you will want to browse the Hobbies, Toys, Outdoors, and Games category located at this link here.

Get Active With Nature

Finally, nature and exercise go hand-in-hand. When you go camping with your family you will have lots of opportunities to participate in nature-related activities like hiking, swimming and long walks along the water. Additionally, camping is also a healthy vacation choice because you will get a lot of exercise from all of the activities that simply come from spending time in nature.

Thanks for Reading

So if you had to cancel your regular vacation you should consider all the benefits that a camping trip can offer you. Remember these ideas the next time you are planning your next trip. Thanks so much for reading this article!

DealDash Summer Fun for Kids Suggestions

DealDash

Summer is just about here! Your kids are going to be bored, here are DealDash’s fun suggestions for activities.

Summer has (almost) officially reached full swing and it’s time to consider what to do with the family. There are limited options for summer camps or vacations due to social distancing. So, we wanted to look at a few ways that you can spend positive time with your kids. Read on for some suggestions from DealDash.

Family Book Club

This may seem crazy, but it’s amazing how much reading can bring a family together. Find a book that your youngest reader can enjoy and have the family read and discuss what’s in the book. It’s something simple that allows everyone to share their thoughts. If there’s a huge age difference, you could also opt to do multiple books so that your oldest isn’t reading Dr. Seuss all summer.

DealDash Can Help With Lawn Games

There are a million options for outdoor games. So, consider cleaning your old games up and getting the family together for some fun. You can find something that requires limited skills like bocce ball or horseshoes. For something with a little more coordination, consider Badminton, Volleyball or Croquet. My favorites are probably bocce ball and croquet. Just make sure the kids aren’t too competitive.

If you’re in the market for some lawn games or other outdoor activities, look no further than DealDash. You will find traditional things such as sports equipment, but you can also find outdoor games for the family as well. Browse in the Hobbies, Toys, Outdoors, and Games category at this link right here.

Water games

There’s nothing better than getting to hose down when it’s hot outside. I love the simplicity of using a slip n’ slide or a sprinkler system. If you want something that lends itself to games, consider water balloons or water guns. There are also a number of relay races that you can find on the internet that incorporate water games in them.

My favorite is using clothes that have been dunked in water. Divide into teams and have 1 set of clothes and 1 large bucket filled with water for each team. The first person runs the clothes to the water bucket, dunks them, and puts them on. They return to the starting line, take the clothes off and hands them to the next person. Each person repeats until everyone has finished. The first team done is the winner. This is a blast, especially if you use really large clothing.

Thanks for Reading

Summer is always tons of fun, and these tips will help your family enjoy some downtime. Following these suggestions will help everyone in the family have a great time during the summer, even if they can’t go to camp this year. Thanks so much for reading this article.

DealDash Family Guide to Outside Chores

DealDash

Now is the time that there are tons of outside chores. DealDash has some suggestions to help include the whole family.

Summer is the season where there are many outdoor chores that need to be done. While the kids get to have fun outside, it’s important that you don’t forget all of the chores that come with the temperature rising. The good news is that you can get everyone to help. Follow these tips from DealDash to get everyone involved.

Lawn Care for Everyone

When I say lawn care, you probably assume I mean cutting grass and edging. While those are important parts, you can get the family to help out with pulling weeds or spreading grass seed. When it comes to pulling weeds, you can make it a race to see who can get the most weeds in a certain amount of time.

Gardening Together

Everyone loves the look of a nice garden. It’s not nearly as difficult as most people think. Find a local nursery that can guide you through what plants to use based on your soil and how much sun you get in a specific spot. I’m sure the kids would be willing to help out. I know my kids love playing in the dirt!

Cleaning the patio

It’s important to keep your patio clean. I find the best way to do that is to hose it down frequently. If you’re keeping up with our posts, you may have read our recent Summer Activities post which included some water games. Kill two birds with one stone and hose down the patio the same day that you’re playing water games. As an added bonus, this gives you the chance to spray the kids and have a little fun!

Power Washing – Let DealDash Help

This is one of my guilty pleasures. Doing a quick “wash” with a normal garden hose will keep residue from building up, but power washing goes to the next level. Whether I’m spraying the patio, the deck, or the siding, there’s something oddly satisfying about watching built-up grime slowly peel away. This is another chore that you could entrust an older 12+ responsible child to handle. As long as they’re using it properly and avoiding glass, there are a limited number of issues that can pop up.

Not everyone has a power washer, though. DealDash can solve that problem! If you’re in the market for your first power washer or a replacement for your old one, just click here. You will find a couple of different choices of power washers. You can also browse the Home, Garden, and Tools category, right here.

Thanks for Reading

These cleaning tips and suggestions will help you get the whole family involved in the outdoor chores. Thanks so much for reading this DealDash article on chores in the outdoors.

DealDash Spreads Positivity Throughout the Land

DealDash

In these tough times, it’s important to keep a positive attitude. There are lots of ways to be a positive force in the world. Here are some suggestions, from DealDash.

We can all agree that being positive and spreading positivity is a good thing. However, in these difficult times, it’s easier said than done. DealDash is a great example of a positive force that makes people happy. Here are some things that you can do to get yourself (and others) into a positive frame of mind.

Eat Well, Sleep Well

To begin with, there’s no way that you will be able to have a positive attitude if you are tired or hungry. Think of a toddler – why are they cranky? Because they are either in need of a snack or a nap. If you want to be a positive force in life, you need to get enough sleep. Most people need around 7-9 hours per night. You also need to eat healthily. This doesn’t mean you can’t have a treat here and there, but be sure that you are eating plenty of fruits, veggies, and lean meats. Eating well combined with getting enough sleep will have you feeling great and ready to be positive.

 Think Positive, Be Positive!

Next up, being positive means having a positive attitude. Everyone has aches and pains and things that make them feel upset, but try to think of the good things as well. When you wake up, consider the positives every morning. Think about the things that you love, such as your family, friends, pets, or even what you’re planning on doing next weekend. Think about the things that put a smile on your face, and you will be ready to help others feel positive as well.

Help Other people Feel Positive – With DealDash!

Finally, being a positive force is easier when you surround yourself with other positive people. Sharing a positive outlook on life can make positive people feel even better. A way that I can spread the positivity is by sharing my hobby (and favorite website!) DealDash! You can’t help but feel positive when you are bidding! It’s a lot of fun, and you can get great wins or BINs (Buy It Now) when you are having fun on your favorite site.

Not only that, but you can also get things that will make you as well as your family and friends happy. You can pick your parents up a nice decoration for their home, a game system for your teen, and a nice set of sheets. That will put a smile on everyone’s face and brighten their day.

Thanks for Reading

Finally, thanks such a lot for reading this new article on being positive. Follow these suggestions and you will be a positive force in your little corner of the world in no time!

Want to pamper your friends and family? Go check DealDash for home decor, game systems, and more. You’ll find great gifts for your friends and family. Visit now to see how much you’ll save. Have a great day and happy bidding everyone!
