Unwinding After a Tough Day, with DealDash

DealDash

Everyone has a tough day sometimes. Here are some tips from DealDash to help you unwind and relax.

It’s a fact – no one can have a great day every single day. However, more important than your bad day is how you react to it. There is a huge difference between going home and moping about your bad day, or going home and perking yourself up. Follow these tips from DealDash and you’ll be improving your day in no time flat!

Take Some Time for Your Hobby

First, what’s your hobby? Is it reading, writing, video games, reading, cooking, bidding on DealDash, or sewing? There are hundreds of hobbies out there. If you find yourself having a bad day when you get home forget about the chores and housework for a while and spend some time on your hobby.

Adult Coloring Books

Next, there are few things more relaxing than coloring in adult coloring books. If you haven’t gotten any yet, you’re in for a treat. There are so many different themes of coloring books such as ocean scenery, butterflies and birds, mandalas, forest creatures, flowers, and more. If you have a theme in mind, they probably have a coloring book for it. You can get adult coloring books just about anywhere, but the craft store tends to have the most selection.

Take a Walk

Next, exercise, in general, is a stress-relieving endorphin booster. However, some of us really aren’t that sporty. No problem! Taking a simple walk around the block, through the woods, or even around the mall is enough to help you relax and unwind. You don’t even have to break a sweat to get the great benefits of taking a walk. It’s one of the ultimate stress-busters.

Spend Time with Friends

Finally, spending time with people who you really enjoy their company is an excellent way to unwind from a bad day. You can meet for coffee, or even invite them on that walk that we talked about earlier. If you don’t have time to physically spend time with them, then give them a call or a text. You’ll get all of the benefits of chatting to a friend in the comfort of your living room.

DealDash – Your Lifestyle Affects Your Sleep Cycle

DealDash How does your lifestyle affect your sleep cycle? Let DealDash explain it to you in this article.

We live in a society where the pace of life is hectic from the time we wake up to the time we go to bed. More and more people are having some difficulty sleeping. Work, family, bills, and the atmosphere of the city where everyone is in a hurry- all these factors end up influencing our hormonal system in one way or another. This is usually in the form of stress, and as we know, a high level of stress means high levels of cortisol. There are a few things that you can do to help. Read on for more information from DealDash.

Take Some Time to Relax

It is important to be able to find some time during the day for ourselves to try to relax. This can mean strolling in a park, going to a library, listening to music, taking a relaxing bath, or doing another activity that we like. This is in order to try to reduce stress levels, and thus at the end of the day have more options to achieve a cycle of sleep-wake. The sleep-wake cycle allows us to rest and recover.

Sleep Disorders: Insomnia & Hypersomnia

Insomnia

Insomnia can be common in specific situations of high stress. Some examples include exams, health problems, major life changes, etc. However, it can become chronic and is no longer directly related to the problem that caused it. In order for us to be able to talk about insomnia at the level of illness or disorder, it must be “common,” which is considered three or more nights a week.

Indicators of insomnia may include involuntary waking before six and a half hours of rest, multiple instances of waking up at night without being able to get back to sleep in more than half an hour, or taking more than half an hour to fall asleep at bedtime. Again, having these things happen to you occasionally is not typically a problem. It’s only when this becomes common that it’s an issue.

Hypersomnia

Hypersomnia means excessive sleep during the day, and there are different syndromes and manifestations of different origins. For example, narcolepsy-cataplexy syndrome is characterized by uncontrollable sleep attacks, episodes of paralysis during sleep, hallucinations during sleep and/or cataplexy (loss of muscle tone).

Another syndrome, sleep apnea, affects mainly (but not only) hypertensive and obese people. In apnea, breathing stops during more or less long periods of sleep, which can lead to cardiac, neurological and social problems. There are medical treatments for apnea, such as the application of a continuous-entry oxygen mask, also known as a C-Pap. This is a serious disorder, and if you suspect you suffer from sleep apnea you should schedule a visit with your doctor.

Have Anxiety? DealDash Has Information

DealDash

Anxiety affects many people. If you are one of them, read this article from DealDash.

For starters, what is generalized anxiety disorder? A generalized anxiety disorder is characterized by a pattern of frequent and constant worry and nervousness. This can be regarding real or imaginary events. When this feeling lasts for more than six months, then you know that it is time to get treatment. Hopefully, if you read this article you will make the decision to go see a doctor about your anxiety. They are there to help. Read on for more information, from DealDash.

What Causes Anxiety?

People who suffer from it often cannot describe what causes them to feel this sense of distress. Unfortunately, this can become an impediment to a normal life if the anxiety becomes the center of their lives.

Symptoms of This Disorder

The main symptom is the constant feeling of worry and nervousness even when there are no objective causes for it. Concerns can shift from one topic to another. These can include sentimental, economic, work, and family. Anxiety can always find a new motive. Even if you are aware of the main basis of your distress, it is difficult for people with anxiety to control it.

Other symptoms are more intense agitation, irritability, and more tension than usual or what would be reasonable in a given situation. People often have trouble concentrating and difficulty falling asleep and staying asleep.

Physical symptoms may include a headache, tremors, sweating, heart palpitations, muscle pain, weight loss, and digestive problems.

Causes of Generalized Anxiety Disorder

It is not known for sure what causes a person to suffer from anxiety, but it does seem to be a set of several causes. One of them can be genetic because often several generations of the same family have it. There is also evidence that certain chemical changes in the brain can lead to an anxiety disorder. Anxiety often occurs along with other mental disorders, such as panic attacks or depression that affect serotonin levels.

Treatment of Anxiety

Treatment of mental illness is never straightforward and often involves different branches. These branches include therapy and medication. These include antidepressants (tricyclic, SSRIs), buspirone and (short-term) benzodiazepines. These medications should never be taken without medical supervision. Also, they need to be prescribed by your doctor.

Stress reduction methods are also often recommended. These methods can include exercise and relaxation techniques. Also, you can try dietary modifications. Reducing caffeine, stimulants, and alcohol can be especially helpful in reducing anxiety.

Other stress reduction methods can include long walks, hot baths, and spa treatments. Whatever makes you feel happy and relaxed should be at the top of your to-do list when your anxiety is bothering you.

DealDash Helps You Manage Your Stress

DealDash

Has anyone ever told you “don’t stress out” or “you need to have less stress”? Do you really know what stress is? Let DealDash explain it to you.

Stress is a response to a series of stimulus, good and bad. It works at an overload of tensions that alters our whole central nervous system. Sadly, in many cases, it even provokes the beginning of diseases. This is an important health topic. Please read on for more information from DealDash.

Different Types of Stress

There are 3 types of stress:

  • Acute stress

Acute stress the most common of the three types. This stress is so common because it involves things happening in the recent past and present, and the pressures of the immediate future that will come.

This stress is typically fairly mild and can be taken care of with regular pampering sessions, exercise, lots of sleep, eating well, and other small activities. This type of stress effects pretty much everyone and is easily managed.

  • Episodic Acute Stress

Generally the episodic stress attacks people that have a chaotic life. This person wants to do all but in the end they do nothing. This type of stress can be dangerous because it is more severe and can have worse effects on the body than acute stress. This type of stress would be best managed with a little help from a doctor or psychologist.

  • Chronic stress

This is the most dangerous of the three types, it exhausts the person and it could provoke the onset of depression and anxiety. This will worsen the health of the person and once it becomes chronic, the need for treatment for the anxiety and depression is a “must have”. It is said that the chronic stress is the principal cause of suicide, heart attacks or even cancer.

Are You TOO Stressed?

Now you know what stress is and how many types of stress are. However, do you know if you suffer from stress? They are many symptoms that affect different things like:

  1. Effects on your body

You might suffer from chronic headaches or migraines, muscular ache, fatigue, or insomnia.

2. Effects on your mood

You might suffer from anxiety, lack of concentration, irritability, sadness and even depression

3. Effects on your behavior

You might suffer from a change in appetite, angry mood, consumption of tobacco or alcohol, or social anxiety

How you should manage your stress?

It is very important to have a regular physical activity you enjoy like running or walking. You can also try breathing techniques and yoga, sleeping and eating well and try to avoid cigarettes and excess consumption of coffee and alcohol. Also, a little pampering can help as well.

DealDash Deals with Stressful Situations

DealDash

Are you having trouble with stressful situations? Let DealDash give you some tips and tricks to help deal.

Sometimes bad things happen to good people, and when they do, you have to be prepared to deal with it. You can’t always prevent your problems, but you can be better prepared to cope with them. Here are some tips and ideas to help deal with stressful situations, from DealDash.

Have a “Happy Routine”

When things go wrong and start getting really stressful, it’s important to have a “happy routine” that you can do to make yourself feel better. This routine might be going to a particular place that makes you feel happy such as the beach or a park. Or it could be calling a friend or family member, or even going out and getting yourself a treat like a fancy coffee drink or an ice cream cone. Whatever your happy routine is, keep it in mind, and remember to do it when things start getting really stressful.

Remember the Good Times

If it seems like everything is going wrong for you, it might be hard to think about all of the good things. However, life is like a roller coaster, there are always going to be ups and downs. When you’re in one of the down times, don’t forget all of the good times that you’ve had in the past. Also, don’t forget to anticipate all of the good times that you will have again in the future. There are few bad things that will happen to you that won’t eventually get better. If you get laid-off from your job you’ll eventually get a new one. If you have a break-up, you’ll eventually find a new mate. If you total your car, eventually you will get a new one.

Things might seem really bad at the moment, but in time, most things will get better.

Pamper Yourself

When things get too stressful, it’s time to bring out the pampering supplies. This can mean different things for different people. Some people love massages, other people love getting a manicure. Most people enjoy getting into comfy clothes and binge-watching their favorite TV series, and others love to bid on DealDash. If you’re feeling stressed, then you should do whatever makes you feel pampered.
