DealDash Kids: Socially Distanced Fall Activities

Have fun and stay safe with these fun socially distanced activities from DealDash.

Sadly, life hasn’t been the most fun for kids lately. They are missing out on a lot of things that we took for granted just a year ago. However, there are still ways to have fun in a safe, socially distanced way. Read on for some suggestions from DealDash.

Socially Distanced Craft Activities at Home

Firstly, the easiest way to do socially distanced craft activities is to stay home, of course! Fall is the perfect time to do indoor activities such as arts and crafts. Just because your kids can’t go to the pottery painting studio or to the art club doesn’t mean that they have to miss out. The materials to paint pottery or a canvas are easy to get at the local craft store. They also cost less than a trip to the painting studio, provided that you are buying the supplies that are made for kids or schools. Don’t see the prices for professional supplies and get sticker shock! Be sure to look for coupons and sales for your local craft stores.

Learn a New Language

Next, learning a new language is a fun socially distanced activity that is educational. No matter which language your kids want to learn, it can be done in a safe way! Your kids can learn a new language in many ways without being in close proximity to other people. Using an app, watching YouTube videos, listening to podcasts, or using a book are all great free ways to learn a new language. Additionally, there are online tutors, Zoom classes, and other ways they can use the internet and a webcam to learn. However, these ways are not typically free. My suggestion would be to try a few of the free suggestions first, and if they would like to gain fluency, consider trying a paid course. When the weather outside is cold, windy, and rainy, learning a language can be a great socially distanced activity in fall.

Redecorate Their Room – DealDash Can Help

Finally, another fun fall activity for your kids could be to redecorate their room. With everyone trying to stay socially distanced, your kids are probably spending a lot more time in their rooms. If you would like to help your kids redecorate their rooms, DealDash should be your first stop! You will find sheet sets, comforters, animal-shaped ottomans, and more on DealDash. If you have a teen, you definitely need to check the Home, Garden, and Tools category for beanbag chairs! They are perfect to use on the floor as a gaming chair.
