Forget the Spice Rack

Forget the spice rack, get yourself some magnetized strips and mount them to your wall or side of the cabinet. Then get some round metal containers to put your spices into, and stick them onto the strips. It will save you counter space, cabinet space, and look very clean as well.

Speaking of magnetized strips, get another strip and mount it on your backsplash area to hold your cooking knives. This will save you some counter space because you won’t have to have a knife block out, and it will look very professional as well as keep the knives within quick grasp when you need them.

If you’re wondering where you can store all of those tongs, soup ladles, spatulas, and others – hooks! Designate a place in your kitchen that you can install hooks, and hang up all of those pesky, hard to store cooking implements. You can even install the hooks on one side of the fridge if you get the ones that are made to be removable – they are made by “Command,” and they don’t leave a mess when you remove them. I love these hooks and use them for many things in my home. I can attest that they don’t leave damage when you remove them,
