DealDash Chooses a Hair Brush
There are quite a few different styles of hair brushes, and it can be a little confusing which brush is right for the job. DealDash can help…
If you have medium or long hair you most likely have at least one hairbrush. Even people with short hair like my husband usually have a brush around their bathroom somewhere, even if they don’t use it very often. Here is a quick explanation of which hairbrush is right for which job.
Paddle brush – The paddle brush is great for medium to long hair. If you like having straighter and less frizzy hair, the paddle brush can be your hair dryer’s perfect companion. The paddle brush is also less prone to causing hair breakage when you use it to brush your hair when wet. However, it’s always a good idea to comb out your hair or use a detangling brush before you use a brush.
Detangling brush – This brush is great for detangling! The detangling brush has rows of soft flexible bristles that won’t snag or pull hair when you are trying to brush it out after your shower. You can use this brush for double-duty, massage your scalp with this brush to generate blood flow, which promotes hair growth.
Round brush – The round brush is perfect for blowdrying hair. The longer your hair is, the larger the barrel of the hairbrush should be for maximum drying power. If you choose a hair brush with a ceramic barrel it will heat up as you are drying your hair and dry the hair much faster, saving you time.
Sculpting brush – The sculpting brush is a great all-around brush for daily use. You can brush the tangles out, use with the blow dryer, or style your hair with this type of brush. If you can only choose one brush, I would choose the sculpting brush for its versatility.
