DealDash Has Fun in Fall

I love fall! It’s my favorite season. There are so many fun things to do in the fall.

Depending on where you live, fall might still be blisteringly hot like summer weather, or it might be starting to cool down a bit. The cooling down a bit is my favorite part, snuggling up under the blankets, getting the hoodies out of the closet, and drinking pumpkin flavored coffee are all extra bonuses to me. Living in New England we have a few foliage advantages over our Western and Southern neighbors, but “Leafing” isn’t the only thing to do in the wonderful months of September, October, and November.

Around my part of the USA, fall is the time for fairs! I can think of about 6 different fairs off of the top of my head that happen in September and October, from the large State Fair all the way down to the tiny county fairs. I love fairs, big and small. When I was younger I enjoyed the rides, but now that I am older I enjoy the fair food, walking around and people watching, seeing my kids enjoy the petting zoos, and going to the exhibits – It’s amazing, the winner of the “Biggest Pumpkin” contest seems to be bigger every year. When someone says “fall”, I think “fair.”

Another great think about fall is Halloween! I am personally not into super-scary movies or TV shows, but I do love a bit of Halloween fun, and dressing the kids up in costumes is always fun. Last year my husband even got into the spirit and let me dress him up for a Halloween/Birthday party as a bottle of Sriracha Sauce! I also love to see all of the little kids dressed up, it’s very funny to see what kids choose for their costumes sometimes. Of course, with Halloween comes candy, I am going to do my best this year to try and stay away from the chocolate!

Finally, to close out the praise for fall is my favorite holiday – Thanksgiving! I love all of the traditional Thanksgiving food, especially my special homemade mashed potatoes. My in-laws host a great Thanksgiving every year with all of the traditional Thanksgiving food, and some delicious extras such as pork buns, fried rice, and homemade spring rolls, yum yum!

As the nights get colder you will probably be spending more time indoors. The fall is a great time to hone your skills on DealDash. DealDash is open 24/7, 365 days a year.
