Get Rid of Unnecessary Water

Getting bitten by mosquitoes is not fun. That is why it is important to remove stagnant water or any water that may invite them to come in. For example, when you wash your car, make sure you pour the water out of the bucket. Mosquitoes and gnats feed off of water.  Remove water from all garbage cans and glasses with liquid in it.

White Vinegar

Many people think that you have to go out and buy some fancy insect repellent, but you can use things that are in your cabinet.  White vinegar is good for ants because they do not like the smell, and ants can easily come inside during the summertime. All you have to do is spray the white vinegar around the window frame and the doors. This will help keep the ants away from your home. The great thing about this is that it’s safe for both kids and pets.

Use a Vegetable

Some bugs do not like certain foods. Roaches are one of those insects. The next time you buy some cucumbers, make sure you do not go through them away. You should save some and keep them in the bathtub or on your kitchen counter because roaches hate them. This can also be particularly handy if you have a problem with roaches around your garbage bin outside. Simply toss your cucumber ends in there and keep the roaches at bay.
