DealDash Makes Ice Pops for Summer
Summer is here and the temperatures are rising. Why not make some ice pops at home? Here are instructions from DealDash.
Ice pops are an amazing summer treat. Making a tasty, easy treat to help you cool down on these hot summer days, is fun and easy. There are a few different ways to make them, you can customize them to your and your family’s tastes and preferences. You can make them as a singular flavor, add extra fruit chunks, make different flavored layers – anything you like! Let your creativity be your guide to making these delicious ice pops.
Strawberries and Cream Ice Pops
Most people like strawberries, and most people like ice pops. Why not put them together and make strawberry ice pops? These are amazing, and they definitely taste much better if you can use fresh strawberries – however, frozen ones will work as well.
Ingredients:
- 2 Cups strawberries
- 1/2 Cup Cream
- 1/2 Cup Simple Syrup
- Juice from 1/2 a lemon
Directions:
- Hull the strawberries, cut in half
- Puree in a blender or food processor
- Add the rest of the ingredients to the puree, and whisk together
- Pour your mixture into an ice pop mold, or if you don’t have one you can use small cups, like Dixie cups.
- Stick in the freezer.
- When they are partially set up you can stick in popsicle sticks if you like.
Fruit and Yogurt Ice Pops
If you’re not crazy about ice pops that are pure fruit, why not try fruit and yogurt ice pops? They are very similar to make, but taste completely different.
Ingredients:
- 2 Cups Mixed fruit – blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, etc.
- 1 Cup Yogurt
- 1/2 Cup Simple Syrup
- Juice from 1/2 a lemon
Directions:
- Take all stems of off any fruit that you are planning on using.
- Puree all fruit in a blender or food processor
- Add the rest of the ingredients to the puree, and whisk together
- Pour your mixture into an ice pop mold, or if you don’t have one you can use small cups, like Dixie cups.
- Stick in the freezer.
- When they are partially set up you can stick in popsicle sticks if you like.
Raspberry Cream Ice Pops
Ingredients:
- 1 Cup Fat-free milk, 1/2 Cup Fat-free milk
- 1 package Vanilla Instant pudding mix (sugar-free)
- 2 Cups Raspberries
- 2 Cups whipped topping (fat-free)
Directions:
- Pour 1 cup of milk into a bowl, and stir in instant pudding mix. Beat with an electric mixer 2-3 minutes until mixture has thickened. Place the remaining milk and raspberries into a blender and puree until smooth.
- Pour the raspberry puree into the pudding, and add the whipped topping. Stir together until well-mixed.
