DealDash Responsible Bidding Tips
I like to think that I have some common sense when it comes to bidding on a penny auction site and DealDash.
I like to watch an auction before I start bidding. I will actually go through all the pages to see what is coming up and tend to pick the auctions that are going to start in the middle of the night my time because from experience, they tend to have less bidders which gives me a better chance of winning the auction.
I’ll start my process by placing one bid and watch the activity to see how many “active” bidders are going to join me. This way, when the bidding activity gets to the point of “No New Bidders”, I will have my bid in to continue bidding as the price goes up with everyone else’s bids. I like to watch for automatic bids because if there are 3-4 auto bids being made consistently, I will definitely not be using my bids and will wait for the auto bids to die down to 2 people because the others have used up their automatic funds/preset amounts. This allows the price to stay low and me not to use up too many bids needlessly because they are going to use theirs instead.
When I am picking an item, I will use the automatic bids myself sometimes but I do the math first. I will look at the “retail” price on Ebay and factor in how much I paid for my bids and only go as high as the Ebay price because I know I can buy it there for the same price. This is probably stupid but it’s won me a few auctions and seems to work for me.

I’ve been bidding on DealDash for about two years and really like it. I’ve tried other penny auction sites but find myself coming back to DealDash because of the ability to buy it now if you lose an auction and get your bids back.
