How To Keep Cost Low On DealDash
I joined Dealdash in 2012 and had no idea what I was doing. My first auction was for a $30 video game and I spent a whole bid pack on this game and still payed $9 for the game LOL.
I had to take a step back and ask my self, “What am I doing wrong???”
I took a while and studied the auctions to see who was winning, what they were winning, and how much the items were selling for. By doing this I found out there are some folks that have very deep pockets and they don’t care how much a auction costs them, they seem to be strictly there to win. So watch out for people that bid in every auction and don’t quit. If you see them in one auction at $1, than $2, than $3 and so on, the chances of them bidding like this in other auctions is high so be careful when bidding against them and get to know your competition and know who’s won what on Deal Dash.
Also, check the winners page. If someone just won a 2000 bid pack and you have 200 bids, your chances of winning against them is very low. If they want the item, LET THEM HAVE IT! DealDash regularly re-lists the same items up for auction all of the time. The best DealDash tip I can give at this point is to save your bids and catch the next one. I watch the winners page the whole time I’m playing. I keep track of the last 24 hours to see who has won what. Also, if you go to your dashboard you can see “who is on there limit” I use this a lot. I like to study my opponents and know who I’m up against. The “who is on there limit” section tells you who has reached their winning limits and for 1 bid, you can see the entire list of user names that have reached their winning limit for the week. This can be useful to know because you know those bidders can not bid against you in an auction until their weekly limit resets.
Last but not least, use your BidBuddy. People who don’t do this are just wasting their money. When I put 100 bids into the BidBuddy and someone is out bidding every other person, I laugh because they are going to spend over 200 bids just to try out bidding me. I think this is just foolish. If there are 3 people bidding in an auction don’t be a 4th wheel. Only one person is going to win. Save your bids and wait until there are only 2 people bidding. This way you are saving more money!
Good luck with you bidding! 🙂
