DealDash Kids: Get Bargains on Back to School Shopping

DealDash

School shopping can be very expensive, especially if you have more than one child. Here are some ideas from DealDash to save money on supplies.

It is finally the time to go back to school shopping. There are so many stores where you can go to buy school supplies and clothes. The cost of buying school supplies and other necessities for school can cost a lot. If you are on a budget or you want cheaper options there are some ways to get bargains on back to school shopping. Here are a few tips from DealDash to help you out!

Compare Prices before You Buy Supplies

Whether you are shopping in the store or online, comparing prices before you purchase supplies will save you more money. Stores come out with newspapers every week, and they show their list of bargains. Most mass merchandise stores will price match another store and compare deals. You can do a quick Google search online to find out the best bargains and compare stores. Mobile apps are also good to use to save money at the store you decide to go to.

Wait till the Rush is Over

There is a lot of back to school deals when you go shopping during the rush, but there are even better sales during the fall time. You can buy your kids fall and winter clothes during the autumn season. Fall accessories and apparel cost a lot more in August. That is why it is good to buy back to school seasonal clothes later in the year.

Don’t Purchase All of Your Supplies at One Time

Instead of getting all of your kid’s school supplies at one time, it is good to spread out the purchases. A few trips to the store will save you a lot of money in the long run. What’s not on sale one week can be on sale the next week. Be sure to check your local newspaper for discounted supplies and clothes.

DealDash

It’s time for back to school shopping! There’s nothing like the smell of fresh pencils and paper to bring back memories of school days. Here are a few essential supplies, from DealDash.

It is almost time for kids to go back to school. Some kids are excited to go, and some may be dreading going back to school. This, of course, is due to homework and not being able to hang out with friends. Every year millions of parents go back to school shopping with their kids. Going back to school shopping can be a little hectic if you don’t know what to shop for. Here are a few essential items for back to school shopping, as suggested by DealDash.

A Cool Backpack (Maybe Even from DealDash!)

Having a backpack is necessary for going back to school. Your children need a place to put their pens, pencils, papers, and books. There are many different styles of backpacks that you can choose from. You can buy a cartoon character backpack or just a plain one with a lot of sections in it. Regardless of which backpack you choose; it will help keep your kid’s school supplies in one place.

This is definitely an item that you will want to have your child’s input on. Having a backpack with something they like will bring a smile to their face on the first day of school. You can get a backpack at your local mass-market store, or online. You can even win (or BIN) a backpack auction from DealDash! There are different colors and styles to choose from. New Paper and Pencils

Your child needs something to write on and to write with when your kids go back to school. Having plenty of pencils and paper will help your child be prepared for any projects or homework that may be assigned to them. You can buy pencils and paper from mass merchandise stores or even the dollar store if you are on a tight budget. Older kids will also want ink pens. Did you know that DealDash has pens? Of course, the pens that are available for auction are classier than a kid needs, but they would make an excellent teacher gift. Just click here and you will find the pen selection.

Fun Lunch Box

If you have young kids, having a lunch box is essential. Some kids do not like cafeteria food, so it is good to buy some lunch boxes to keep your child’s lunch nice and fresh. You can buy a thermal lunch box or a lunch box with your kid’s favorite tv show characters or games. This is another item that you should let your child pick for themselves. By letting them make some of the decisions they will be eager to go back to class.

DealDash Kids: Tips to Make the Most of the School Year

DEALDASH BACK TO SCHOOL

By this time your child should have already started school or will be starting next week. Here are some tips to help them make the most of the school year.

It’s important for kids of all ages to have a great school year. However, sometimes it is very difficult for younger kids to have a great school year. These kids are complete “newbies” at knowing what to expect from school. Here are some tips to help younger kids get settled and more familiar with what they should do to help themselves have a fun and educational school year. Read on for more information from DealDash.

It’s Okay to Not Know Anyone

Remember, a stranger is “just a friend we haven’t met yet.” If this is your child’s first year at school or if they just don’t know anyone in their class this year, then this is an important thing to tell them. If they don’t know anyone in their classroom this year, that just means that they have even more of a chance to meet their new BFF.

Just Be Yourself

Kids as young as 5 will be in classes this year, and surprisingly even kids this age are worried about fitting in. I have 2 school-aged kids and volunteer in their elementary school. Sadly, I have heard many comments from very young kids that they are worried that people won’t like them. They are worried about the clothing that they are wearing and not having as many toys and gadgets as their classmates. It important to help your kids realize that the superficial stuff isn’t going to help your kids make true friends. and that a real friend will like you no matter what brand of shoes that you are wearing.

Don’t Be Afraid to Be Smart

Try to impart to your kids that being smart is a good thing. They might see things on TV or online showing smart kids to be “nerdy” or “uncool”. However, the kids who listen and do well in school get to do their dream jobs when they are older. No matter if they want to be an astronaut, a paleontologist, or a veterinarian, all of these careers require a lot of brains and doing well in school. This all comes back to just being yourself. Tell them to be curious, pay attention, and do well in school to be able to grow up and do their dream job.

DealDash Kids: Get Them Back to School Successfully

DealDash

All parents want their kids to be successful at school. Here are some tips from DealDash to help them on their way.

School either has started or will be starting soon. Parents want to be sure to help their kids make the transition back to school as successful as possible. Here are some tips to help make the start of the school year as successful as possible for your children, from DealDash.

Ease Their Fears

You want to take the time to help calm any fears that your child may be having with going back to school. If you have younger kids or kids entering high school you may want to take them to see the school possibly at an open house so your child can get used to their new surroundings. Being able to see where they will be spending their time while in school can go far in calming any jitters that they might be having about heading back to school.

Get Back Into a Routine

Make sure they get back into a morning school routine. This will be extremely helping in making sure the back to school transition goes smoothly. You need to start their morning school routine about one to two weeks before they are ready to head back to school. It will make things much simpler for everyone when it comes to getting ready in the morning.

Cut Down on Screen Time

You will also want to consider monitoring time on electronics for your kids. With school starting you want your kids to concentrate on their school work and not their electronics so limit their electronics time during the school week. While you kids may not be happy with you it will show to be very beneficial when it comes to their school work.

Make Sure They Have Supplies – Check DealDash

Finally, be sure that they have the school supplies they need. Even kids as young as Kindergarten sometimes need a computer or tablet to do school work. Get a list of which school supplies your kids need from their teacher and be sure that they have everything on the list. Check DealDash if you need any electronics or gift cards.
