DealDash

Hobbies are a super stress-reliever and can make you feel more positive about the future. Let DealDash give you some suggestions on how to explore your options.

You probably have a hobby or three that you love, such as bidding on DealDash. However, trying new things, learning new facts, and practicing skills can help your brain stay vital. Read these tips and ideas from DealDash to get you started on your new hobby.

Tips on Finding a New Hobby

Even if you’re excited about finding a new hobby it can seem a little daunting. However, finding a new hobby can be easy and fun after you dive in. You might wonder how to find your new hobby, and you’ll be pleased to know that there are various ways.

First, look around and see what hobbies you have currently. Why not expand on a hobby you already love? For example, if you like reading, why not try writing? Or if you currently enjoy basketball as a hobby, why not take up swimming as well? Take what you already like, and expand upon it – sim.

No Hobby? No Problem!

Not having a current hobby doesn’t mean that you can’t pick one up quickly. If you don’t have a hobby now that means that you have extra time to try a few and see which ones you like best. The first thing to do is to make a list. Add things that you have done in the past and enjoyed, and also things that you want to try. For example, did you join a friend who invited you to go bowling once? Maybe you enjoyed it but didn’t think to pick it up as a hobby at the time. Now’s your chance!

Explore the Options on DealDash

Finally, DealDash can help you find a new hobby. You’ll want to begin by visiting the Hobbies, Toys, Outdoors, and Games category. Just click here. DealDash Kids: Help Your Child Find a Hobby

DealDash

Kids feel happier and more fulfilled when they have a hobby they love. Here are some suggestions from DealDash to help you navigate the choices.

There are a ton of reasons you should help your child find a hobby. It can be tricky for them to choose since there are so many great hobbies out there to choose from. Choosing a hobby they love while they are young can bring a lifetime of fulfillment. Read on for some hobby suggestions from DealDash.

What Do They Love to Play?

Firstly, a good way to help your child to choose a hobby is to pick something that they love to play and expand upon it. For example, if your child likes to play “kitchen” then you can introduce them to cooking and baking. If your child love to play with dollhouses, then a great hobby to show them would be making miniatures for their dollhouse. A hobby is definitely a great way for your child to build up their self-esteem.  This will come as they gain proficiency in their new hobby.

Think About Their Personality

Next, a way to help them choose a hobby is to think about their personality. Are they outdoorsy or more the indoor type? Do they love physical activity and sports or do they prefer reading and quiet activities? For example, a great hobby for an active outdoorsy child would be hiking or gardening. A fine hobby for a quiet child who prefers the indoors could be writing poetry or painting.

An added benefit of choosing a hobby to match their personality is that they will soon gain new friends who like the same hobby. You will see that having a hobby will give your child something to talk about and a reason to interact with other people who share similar interests. Even if your child chooses a more solitary hobby like knitting or crochet there are meet-ups and clubs for just about any hobby they pick.

Get Hobby Supplies from DealDash

Finally, a wonderful way to save money on your child’s new hobby is by getting supplies on DealDash. There are many items that can help your child further their hobby, but remember, DealDash is only for adults. The DealDash services are offered and may only be used by persons over the age of 18. Let DealDash Help Save Your Energy

dealdash

Our energy is important, and you should try not to waste it. Here are some ideas from DealDash to help save your energy for the important things.

Whatever we do calls for energy, from going to work to keeping things going at home. Lots of people site absence of time for their failure to reach their objectives when it’s really their normal day that is sapping their power before they have an opportunity to work on hobbies and projects that are important to them. Here are some ideas from DealDash to reduce the energy spent on things that are less important to the things that really matter.

Too Much Social Networking

Social media is excellent in some forms, especially in small amounts. However, contrasted to the other alternatives, it is a well-known waste of space and energy when used in big doses. Social networking is great to keep in contact with friends and relatives. However, it’s very easy to accidentally spend hours at a time, doing nothing in particular. Have you ever zoned out on social media and then wondered “Where did my Sunday afternoon go?” Social media has its place, but you should watch the time and set a time limit for yourself such as 20-30 minutes.

Doing Things the Hard Way

Another huge waste of your energy is doing things “the hard way”. For example, with most modern dishwashers there is no need to pre-rinse unless you have caked-on grime. Why do many people still rinse every dish? Most likely this is just a habit from when they learned how to use a dishwasher many years ago when they weren’t as effective as they are now. There are lots of things in your day that you are probably doing the hard way. Give some thought to what you can do to make small changes that will add up to big energy savings throughout the day.

Where to Invest Your Time and Energy

  • Friends and family are the things that make your life more amazing than it already is. No matter who you are, or where you go, your friends and family are what makes life great! Turn off those distractions and drains on your time and use it on spending time with your loved ones.
  • Hobbies and special projects are a great way to spend your time and energy. Rather than using your energy on things that don’t really need it, why not get out those golf clubs, knitting needles, or cookbook and enjoy your hobbies? If you can incorporate your hobby and spending time with a friend or family member, even better!
  • Gaining knowledge is another wonderful use of your energy. You can pick up a book on a subject that interests you, take a class online, or even just watch a video about a subject that you’re interested in. No one has ever said, “Wow, I sure wish I didn’t bother learning a new skill.”

Spend Time Winning on DealDash

Another way to spend your energy in a fun and useful way is DealDash. When you bid on DealDash you can shop, get a bargain, and even spend time with family. You can browse on DealDash together. DealDash Gardens: Get Your Seeds Started Indoors

dealdash

Now is a great time to get your seeds started indoors for your garden this spring. Read these tips from DealDash, then get started!

Planting seeds is an easy process, but how you go about it can make or break your growing season. There are certain seeds that you can start indoors for gardening. Many people get a head start by planting some seeds indoors for their gardening season. Here are some tips to get your seeding started indoors for your garden, from DealDash.

Decide Which Seeds You Should Start Indoors

The first thing you should do is figure out which seeds you can use indoors for your garden.  There are a variety of crops that you can grow indoors such as cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, Lettuce, peppers and more. The best way to determine what type of seeds you want to grow is to go by how much space you have.  Once you figure out which crop you want to use, you can start the preparation.

Use a Grow Light

Most vegetables need 6 to 8 hours of sunlight to grow, so it is imperative to use a grow light if you are growing your crops indoors during the winter time. A grow light will also prevent your seedlings from having a long and straggly stem. Using a grow light will help your seeds grow successfully.

Use the Correct Containers

Having the right size of containers is important. You can find seeding containers at stores such as Lowes and Home Depot. Using egg containers is also good for your seeds. Make sure that you poke holes into the containers on the side down the bottom to drain the extra water.  It is also best to label your containers, so you won’t forget which plant you planted.

DealDash Resolutions: Be Happier in 2019

DealDash

People have all sorts of resolutions for the new year, from fitness to financial. But a great resolution to make is to be happier in 2019. Here are some ideas from DealDash to get you started.

2019 is here, and you might have made a few resolutions already, from losing 10 pounds to doing better at work. Well, DealDash is here to say that there is a perfect resolution to make, and it’s not too late. You have more than 11 months to make 2019 your best and happiest year yet. Read on for more information from DealDash.

Say “No” More Often

As the mom of 3 kids, I have learned that it’s okay to say “No” sometimes. It’s fine to say that you aren’t able to watch extra kids after school. Also, it’s fine to say “No” to volunteering for every event that your child’s school has. Finally, it’s fine to say “No” to buying cookies, pies, candy bars, and wallpaper from every child that comes to your door. As someone who does her fair share of volunteering with Girl Scouts and the elementary school, I know how it feels to get tired of saying “Yes” to everything. Try saying “No” to things occasionally this year, and I bet you will feel happier!

Try Fun New Hobbies

2019 can be a great year if you can find a fun new hobby to participate in. It doesn’t have to be anything wild or “out there” like parasailing or skydiving, just something that you aren’t currently doing. Have you seen all of the new board games and card games that are directed towards teens and adults? If you aren’t playing some of these new games, you are missing out on some fun.

Have you taken a look at the puzzle aisle lately? It’s not all landscapes and pictures of buildings anymore. When I went on vacation my cousins, who are in their early 20’s, were doing puzzles. I teased them for a bit, but when I actually took a look at the puzzles they had, I changed my tune. No matter what you’re interested in, there is probably a puzzle to represent it. I just completed a puzzle of a craft room full of cats!

Pick Up a New Sport

You will find fun and happiness in 2019 if you find a sport that you love. Many people don’t play sports because they aren’t in the best physical shape. However, there are lots of sports that you don’t have to be in tip-top physical condition to participate. Try golfing at the driving range, frisbee, or even a kickball game with friends!

Get Hobby and Sports Supplies from DealDash

You don’t have to spend too much money on your new hobby or sport. Getting hobby or sports supplies on DealDash is the best way to save money and maximize your happiness in 2019.
