Family movie night is one of my favorite times to spend with my husband and kids. DealDash has some fun ways to prepare for a movie night at your house.
No matter the ages and genders in your family, everyone can enjoy family movie nights. To begin with, what is a movie night without some fun snacks? If you’re thinking of having a regular weekly or bi-weekly family movie night you will want to begin collecting some snacks and treats in preparation for the big night. Create a Movie List
Next, you will want to make a list of movies that the family wants to watch. This can be an ongoing project that you can add to or remove items at any time. If you have a large range of ages in your home you will want to make sure that all of the movies are appropriate for the youngest family members. This doesn’t mean that you are regulated to animated movies only, though! Some of my kid’s (age 4, 8, and 12) favorite movies are Home Alone and Mrs. Doubtfire. Nature movies and PG comedy movies are also a hit at my house. You can also make a few different lists in case the teens and adults in the family might like to watch something a little more mature after the little ones go to bed.
