This is a very special week in DealDash-Land since they are celebrating 10 years of making winners out of bidders. If you are new to DealDash, then you might not be aware of how things got started and the early days of your favorite bidding site. Let’s correct that! Here are some fun facts about your favorite place to bid.
2009
The site was officially launched in 2009. The early days were quite different than what you will find now. There were no cars or fancy trips to be won in 2009.
2011
Did you know that before 2011 the BidBuddy did not exist?! That’s right, 2011 was a great year for those bidders who want to “set it and forget it” because this was the year that the BidBuddy was launched for your bidding joy. The BidBuddy made it possible for busy people who didn’t have hours to spend babysitting an auction to get big wins.
2012
One million bidders is a huge accomplishment, and that feat was accomplished in mid-2012. However, much bigger things were to come in 2013.
2013
In 2013 a true milestone was achieved – 2 million auctions! That’s more than the entire population of the country of Estonia!
2016
DealDash got a big update in 2016 with the addition of the mobile app. This app allows people to easily bid right from their phone by just touching the icon and jumping right into the fun of bidding.
2018
Last year in 2018 DealDash brought many amazing auctions to bidders, such as tropical vacations and even cars. Also, amazingly, these big prizes don’t always go for top dollar, either. In 2018 there was an auction for a weeklong vacation in Thailand was won for a mere $111. This was also the year that the best Black Friday bargain was won – a Ford Mustang!
2019
