DealDash Encourages Positivity

DealDash positivity

Everyone can agree that being positive is a good thing. However, sometimes it’s easier said than done. Here are some tips and ideas from DealDash.

How are you doing today? That’s a very common question that many people from your family and friends to the cashier at the store ask you on a daily basis. You probably answer “Fine, thanks.” but wouldn’t you prefer to say “I’m doing great!” and really mean it? Here are some things that you can do to help get yourself in a more positive frame of mind.

Fake It Til You Make It

Not everyone wakes up feeling awesome, many people have a backache, are still tired, or have a headache when they wake up. Try to put those things aside, and think of the positives every morning. You can probably think of a few things, maybe family, friends, pets, or maybe what you’re planning on having for breakfast. Focus on the positive, and put a smile on your face, even if you aren’t really feeling it. It’ll make you feel a little better!

Eat A Healthy Breakfast

It seems like the people who are the grumpiest and unhappiest in the morning are those people that don’t eat breakfast. Let’s face it, you were just asleep for 7+ hours, your body needs some nourishment, even if it’s just a piece of toast and some juice. It’s hard to go about your day with a positive attitude when you feel like you’re starving.

Spend Time With Positive People

Don’t hang out with those Gloomy Gusses and Debbie Downers! Find a group of people to spend time with that shares your positive outlook on life. I’ve found that the happiest and most positive people are those that have a hobby or activity that they love. So check out some meet-up groups in your area for your favorite hobby, pastime, sport, or activity. I bet you’ll find some positive like-minded people there that you can have fun with and enjoy their company.

Look On The Bright Side

Lots of things happen in daily life that leaves you with a decision – are you going to look at them positively or negatively? For example, maybe you had a lunch date with a friend and she had to cancel. You have two choices: A – Sulk around about it and not go, or B – Go anyway and enjoy yourself. You should definitely pick B! If you don’t want to go by yourself, then ask another friend, co-worker, or family member to join you. Always look on the bright side, why not?
