DealDash Kids: Baby Bath Time!
When it comes to baby bath time you need to follow these tips to make things go smoothly. Read on for some tips from DealDash for washing the baby.
When it comes to bathing your baby things can be quite difficult especially if you’re a new parent. You need to make sure that you have everything in close range so you can grab things quickly and you need to also be able to pay close attention to your child. Here are a few things that you will require when it is bath time for your baby, from DealDash.
Baby Shampoo
You’ll need to get soap and shampoo that are made for bathing a baby. You do not want to use adult shampoo or soap on a baby. You need to make sure that all of the soap and shampoo that you buy for bathing your baby is formulated for use specifically for babies. The shampoo and babies are meant to be tear-free, just in case you accidentally get it in your baby’s eyes.
Gentle Washcloths
You also want to make sure you get sponges and washcloths that you can use during bath time. If you can find bamboo fabric washcloths these are the most gentle for baby’s skin. Using these will be a fast and simple way to get your baby clean. You always want to remember to wash out the sponges and washcloths that you use after bathtime. You want to make sure you do not have to deal with any mildew or bacteria forming on them.
Bathtub for Baby
Getting a baby bathtub is a smart move especially if you’re a new parent. Many of them come with a built-in seat and also often come with slip protection. This is so you do not have to worry about your baby slipping while you’re bathing them. Trust me, once you have soaped up the baby they will become quite slippery. If you want to keep the baby occupied while you’re bathing them you could also get some toys that they can play with. Things like rubber ducks and colorful animals are a great way to keep the baby occupied while you are bathing them.
Drying the Baby
After bathing, you will, of course, need a dry towel to dry your baby off. Again, I suggest bamboo fabric if you can find it. I personally prefer the type of baby towel that has a built-in hood for drying their hair.
Once you are done bathing and drying your child you’ll be ready to apply powder and lotion if you so choose.
