DealDash is such a fun place to shop and win auctions! Are you using your bids wisely or are you just bidding all over the place? Don’t bid all “willy nilly”, use your bids wisely and don’t waste your bids. Use the BIN feature to maximize your savings. I would love to help you make sure that you’re getting the most for your money, so read on for more information.

Be Wise – Use BIN on DealDash

Using your bids wisely sometimes means that you know when to stop bidding. There will be times that you win an auction on DealDash, and times you should BIN. When you BIN, it means that you are “Buying It Now”. This means when you pay the price that’s listed on the auction, you will receive the bids back that you used on the auction.

When Should I Stop Bidding?

There is an easy way to tell if it’s time to stop bidding. First, see the maximum amount of bids that you can use to “break even”. Next, compare the number of bids that you have already spent to the current price of the auction.

Simply multiply the number of bids you have used by the amount that you paid for each bid. If you don’t know exactly how much you paid, no problem. Bids are typically priced between 12 and 15 cents. I usually use .15 as my multiplier. Here’s an example:

If you are bidding on an auction that has a BIN (Buy It Now) price of $200, take $200 and divide it by .15 (or however much you paid). With this equation, you get the number 1,333. This is the maximum number of bids that you should use if it happens to be a “Free Auction” promotional event. Otherwise, compare it to the current auction price. It sounds complicated, but it’s really simple once you get the hang of it!

It’s Easy to BIN

Using BIN is wise, and it is super easy! Just look at the picture below. See a big black box? At the bottom of the box, on a gray button,  you will see text that says “Buy this item for ___” When you want to BIN, just click the gray button. After you have paid for the item DealDash will refund all the bids you used to try and win this auction.
