Let’s Have a DealDash Spa Slumber Party

DealDash Spa

School is almost over, and your kids are going to be bored. Why not plan a spa slumber party with DealDash?

A spa slumber party can be fun for kids of all ages, from little kids up to grannies! However, it’s especially well-received by girls in Elementary and Middle school.  With a little preparation and some creativity, your spa slumber party will be a hit with your daughter or granddaughter and her little friends! Here are some tips, tricks, hints, and ideas from DealDash to make your party a success.

Make Some Decisions

There are many decisions that you’ll need to make before you have your spa slumber party, such as how many people you’re going to invite, what types of spa activities that you want to have, and what refreshments you’ll need. Once you’ve decided these things, the planning will go much more smoothly.

Who Will You Invite?

After you’ve decided who to invite, then you’ll need to make a guest list. If this is a party for teens or adults, then 6-8 guests is probably a good number, but the younger the guests, the less you should invite. For example, if this party is going to be for Kindergarteners, I would only invite 4 or so guests.

Once you have your guest list decided, then you can start inviting people. You can make a Facebook invitation, do e-vites, or even buy (or make) some paper invitations to send in the mail. It’s completely up to you. If you go the paper invitations route, be sure to put your email address on there as well as your phone number so people have the option to RSVP by either email or text.

Collect Your Supplies

After deciding what type of spa activities that you’re going to have at your party, then you can start collecting the supplies that you’ll need to make the night a success. Here are some examples of things that you might want to collect for your spa party:

  • Nail polishes in different colors
  • Nail polish remover
  • Q-tips
  • Cotton rounds
  • Things to make face masks such as eggs, oatmeal, avocado, honey
  • Towels
  • Make-up such as eye shadow, blush, eyeliner
  • Make-up remover wipes
  • Lotions
  • Facial scrubs
  • If you’re really adventurous – a home waxing kit!

Buy Snacks

You will most likely order take-out or pizza for dinner, but be sure that you have snacks, bottled water, and soda on hand. You can make Chex Mix, get pretzels and hummus dip, a mixed veggie plate, and some bags of microwave popcorn. This might be a spa slumber party, but when there’s a party involved, you’re always going to need snacks!
