If your child is typically a good student but is struggling, it’s possible that the work just wasn’t explained properly. It can be very difficult to understand the directions if they are given during a conference call with the whole class. There are too many distractions. Spread Breaks Throughout the Day

Next, if your child has a lot of schoolwork to do during the day, be sure they are taking regular breaks. A good rule of thumb is 45 minutes of classwork, and then a 15-minute break, with a longer 30-minute break for lunch. Let your child do what they want for their breaks, but try to encourage going outside for some fresh air in your yard or having a healthy snack such as some cut up fruit, cheese, hummus, etc.
